Sleeping Babies

This past weekend we had community days here in town, aka rodeo days.  Here are a few things that summed up our day.

1. The boys were able to experience a parade.  This was J's second and C's first.  Customary for parades the various floats handed out candy.  Most children run to the candy and grab as much as they can, one would think my oldest would do the same.  Oh no, not this child!  J would run to the candy, do a quick scan and decide if he liked it or not, if he didn't care for it then he would pass on it and come back to the curb.  Really?
2. We also had a block party to which there was a bouncy house. Note to self: do not let the children back in the bouncy house after supper.  The result  could be vomiting. The entertainment aspect of this is that the gentleman that volunteered to clean it up dry heaved the entire time.
3. Later in the evening I look over and sure enough 2 three year old shorts to their feet have a peeing for distance contest.  Thankfully, not my child. :)

So here are my sleeping babies after their big day.
